POTSDAM — A Lisbon woman faces grand larceny charges after she allegedly failed to pay a $2,600 rental-car bill.

Michelle L. Beebie, 37, 421 Hardscrabble Road, was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies on Sunday following investigation into the rental of a car from Countrywide Rental Car in the Town of Potsdam from October through January.

Mrs. Beebie was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony, in connection with the $2,659 bill.

She was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and released after posting $1,000 cash bail.
