LOWVILLE — The Northern New York Community Foundation is accepting applications for the second year of George R. Davis grant funding.

Through his will, the late former Lewis County judge provided a permanent source for projects benefiting community projects in the village and town of Lowville.

Last year, 16 proposals were received, and the four grants totaling $9,000 were awarded.

This year, $10,000 will be made available through the Davis Fund.

The selection committee will accept applications until April 26.
