■ DEXTER — The General Brown Central School District’s budget advisory committee meeting set for Wednesday has been canceled and will be rescheduled once the state Legislature’s budget proposal becomes available.

■ LOWVILLE — There will be a free showing of “Sid the Science Kid: The Movie” at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Town Hall Theater, Shady Avenue. Families are encouraged to bring their children early to participate in a science experiment.
