I would like to point out a correction to the information in the letter written by Leland K. Russell, Evans Mills, March 1, that appeared in the Watertown Daily Times.

While I agree with the content of his letter, I would like to note that his appreciation of officials for their support of the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment was unfounded in the case of Addie Russell. The fact is, she voted for the gun control proposal.

It was Rep. Bill Owens and Sen. Patty Ritchie who spoke for their constituents and voted against this bill.

Please remember this at election time.
