UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged Cody Burke, 21, of 15 Haskell St., Massena, with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10 p.m. Thursday on Main Street.

UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Gary L. Brothers, 60, of Massena for unsafe backing at 11 a.m. Thursday following an incident on Maple Street.

BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up David S. MacDonald, 30, of 54 Perkins Road, Apt. 2, Massena, on a bench warrant for allegedly violating the conditions of his release status. Probation officials alleged MacDonald had failed to report as directed. He was arraigned by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall and his release under probation supervision was continued. MascDonald had been charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief in January following a domestic dispute with Raelyn Barnes.
