MASSENA - The St. Lawrence Centre Arena would like to congratulate the hockey teams of Massena Central and St. Lawrence Central on their quarter-final victories and wish them luck in Utica this weekend as they head to the semi-finals for NY State.

On Thursday, the St. Lawrence Centre Arena is offering free skate sharpening to the members of both high school hockey teams between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The arena’s general manager and 12-year skate sharpening veteran, Erich Ober, will be manning the skate sharpening machine on Thursday to give these teams the best edge before they leave for Utica. Anyone wishing to test out their sharpening will be able to on the arena’s ice. \
