CARTHAGE — Yolanda M. “Helen” Corbine, 85, a former resident of 222 State St., died Saturday evening, March 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Watertown.

Yolanda was born in Carthage on February 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Picco Ricco. She attended Carthage Schools. She was previously married to Clarence R. Corbine. She operated Corbine’s Meat Market and 4 C’s Ice Business in Star Lake for many years, worked at P & C Foods in Syracuse, Durkee’s Bakery, Intorcia’s Donut Shop and was a cashier at Jubilee Markets, all in Carthage.

She was a member of the VFW Post # 7227 Auxiliary, Carthage.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Joanne and George DeAngelo of Syracuse, a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Diane Corbine of Gouverneur, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Mike, Joseph and Dominic Ricco and four sisters, Santeen Lyons, Mary Intorcia, Marion Caffrey and Grace Cassoni died previous.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. George F. Maroun, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in the Spring. Calling hours at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home will be on Wednesday from 3-6pm.
