Michael Netto of Watertown advanced to the finals in three events during the preliminaries of the state boys swimming championships on Friday at Webster-Schroeder high school in Webster.
The finals are scheduled to begin at noon today.
Netto, who competed in four events, advances in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200 individual medley and 200 medley relay. He finished third in the 100 breaststroke, with a time of 57.15 seconds, and 13th in the 200 IM in 1:57.15. He joined teammates Brad McKinney, Joey Ongkingco and Andrew Marilley to take 21st in the 200 medley relay in 1:40.81.
Watertowns 200 freestyle relay, composed of Netto, McKinney, Marilley and Neal Ruparelia finished 29th. Ongkingco was 30th in the 100 butterfly.
