CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - LOUISVILLE -Massena-based state police charged Daniel E. Bradish, 38, of 18 Sisson Road, Massena, with a misdemeanor count of second-degree criminal contempt and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate muffler at 6:45 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the town of Louisville. Troopers said during the traffic stop they determined Bradish was violating an order of protection that directed him to stay away from Alyssa C. Klemko, a passenger in his vehicle during the traffic stop. Norfolk Town Justice George C. Grubee had signed an order of protection on May 1, 2012 directing Bradish to stay away from Ms. Klemko. Bradish was arraigned on the criminal contempt count by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released under the supervision of the probation department.
FAMILY COURT WARRANT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police picked up Cory M. Shampine, 35, of 56 Parker Ave., Apt. 3, Massena, on Thursday on a warrant issued by St. Lawrence County Family Court. He was arraigned on the warrant by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow. Bail was set at $500.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police reported Friday that Jacob I. Serviss, 26, of Gouverneur had been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 12 following a stop on state Route 37 in the town of Louisville.
