LOWVILLE — A 14-year-old Lowville Academy and Central School District student on Thursday was accused of injuring a teacher a couple of weeks ago.

The boy, who was not named due to his age, was charged by village police with third-degree assault, answerable at the Lewis County Probation Department.

Police said the boy was “out of control” and injured a teacher who was restraining him.
