Following an eighth-place finish Friday night in the UNOH DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., Watertown native Tim McCreadie finished third Saturday night in the finale of the late-model tour series.
McCreadie led for eight laps early in the 50-lap feature, and led for a lap later in the race. Darrell Lanigan won the race with Josh Richard taking second. Edwards native Tim Fuller had his best finish in the Volusia series, finishing fifth.
Brett Hearn won the 50-lap Super DIRTcar Series big-block modified series finale with Mario Clair and Justin Haers finishing second and third, respectively. Dexter native Rob Bellinger finished 12th.
On Friday night, Rick Laubach won the big-block modified feature. Fuller finished 10th and Bellinger was 20th.
