The Thousand Islands Land Trust is accepting applications for summer land stewards and for a seasonal Zenda Farm Preserve manager.
The land trust hires college students for the summer to serve as land stewards who are paid $8 to $10 per hour, based on experience to participate in various activities.
The preserve manager will be stationed at the Zenda Farm Preserve in Clayton and will focus on trail maintenance, building upkeep and repairs, monitoring of the surrounding woods and fields, and management of the tree nursery. The manager will be paid $13 to $15 per hour, based on experience.
Both positions would also assist with various TILT events. The deadlines to apply are March 15 for a summer land steward position and April 1 for the preserve manager.
