BUFFALO SUNY Potsdam recorded four school records during the first day of the SUNYAC swimming and diving championships Thursday.
Senior Alexander Taylor broke his own record in the 200-meter individual medley and was part of one of three Bears relays that set school marks. Taylor won the 200 IM preliminary in 1 minute, 56.0 seconds.
Taylor also appeared on Potsdams 400 relay that set a school mark in 3:30.68, placing fourth. Richie Zimmerman, Tyler Zapisek and Dan Costa also swam in the relay.
The womens 200 relay of Liz Ringer, Emily Kanoza, Cape Vincents Paige Montroy and Ogdensburgs Kylie Barr broke a school mark in a time of 1:42.23, going on to finish eighth. The 400 medley relay, which also included Montroy, set a record in 4:08.12, taking sixth.
