■ POTSDAM — A gun show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the West Potsdam Fire Department Bingo Hall on Blanchard Road. There will be 78 tables for vendors, along with a gun raffle.

■ POTSDAM — Plans to install security cameras in the village have been shelved, according to Mayor Steven W. Yurgartis. Earlier this month, Police Chief Kevin A. Bates told village trustees he would apply for grant funding to purchase cameras to monitor the village. The plan did not move forward because of a tight budget and potential privacy concerns.
