Who’s Time Warner Cable kidding? Do they think we can’t read?

We received a letter from Time Warner Cable announcing an increase of rates due to programming costs. That very night in the Times, I saw on the stock pages that Time Warner Cable had a 51 percent increase in profits in the last quarter.

We’re senior citizens who use very few channels now and pay to subsidize all the many others. I’ve appealed to the Federal Communications Commission several times to stop these unneeded raises to have no results.
