NEWTON FALLS — Four people were displaced after flames destroyed a Front Street home Monday night, St. Lawrence County fire investigators said.

The fire started in a woodstove chimney at the home owned by Kimberly O’Connor, investigators said. There were no injuries, but crews from four departments were at the scene for about five hours.

The home at 29 Front St. was not insured, investigators said.
