GOUVERNEUR — Cory R. Camidge, 24, of 576 County Route 11, was charged by state police at 3:41 a.m. Saturday with criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Camidge is accused of visiting his ex-girlfriend, who holds an order of protection against him, and of grabbing her and throwing her across the bedroom. Police did not name the woman.

Mr. Camidge was taken to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, and held on $2,500 bail.
