POTSDAM — Kelly Cooke scored two goals with one assist to lead the Princeton women’s hockey team to a 4-1 upset of Clarkson in an ECAC Hockey game on Friday night at Cheel Arena.

Clarkson (23-8 overall, 15-4 conference) led 1-0 after one period on Danielle Skirrow’s goal.

The Tigers (10-14-2, 5-12-2) tied the game with Cooke’s first goal in the second period and then scored three goals in the third. Denna Laing and Corey Stearns also scored for Princeton.

ST. LAWRENCE 1, QUINNIPIAC 1 (OT)

Kelly Sabatine scored in the second period to give the Saints (16-11-4, 11-5-3) a tie with Quinnipiac in an ECAC Hockey game at Appleton Arena.

Amanda Colin scored in the first for the Bobcats (17-9-4, 11-5-3).

MEN’S HOCKEY

SUNY OSWEGO 10, SUNY POTSDAM 0

The Lakers (21-3, 14-1) scored seven goals in the first period and clinched the SUNYAC regular-season title with a win over SUNY Potsdam (8-15-1, 5-10) in Massena.

Luke Moodie and Zach Josepher each scored twice for the Lakers. Jon Whitelaw had one goal with three assists and David Titanic and Bobby Gertsakis each had one goal with two assists.

Chris Brown, Tyler Leimbrock and Matt Singleton also scored.

MERCYHURST CLUB 3, SUNY CANTON 1

George Curry scored the only goal for the Kangaroos (7-15) in a loss to Mercyhurst’s club team in Canton.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

HOBART 74, CLARKSON 66

Stefan Thompson scored 22 points and Richie Bonney added 11 points and 10 rebounds as Hobart (18-6, 14-1) knocked off the Golden Knights in a Liberty League game in Geneva.

Joe Gibbons scored 16 points and Trey Blanding added 10 for the Statesmen.

Marques Charlton and John Coleman each scored 17 points for Clarkson (16-8, 8-7). Felix Abongo scored 15 points and Jerry Coleman added 13.

RIT 73, ST. LAWRENCE 60

The Tigers (9-15, 5-10) trailed 30-23 at halftime, but scored 50 points in the second half to defeat SLU in a Liberty League game in Rochester.

Eric Travis scored 17 points for RIT. Kyle Miller led the Saints (9-15, 7-8) with 14 points. Janpeter Brase scored 13 and Marty Lewis added 11.

SUNY OSWEGO 76, SUNY POTSDAM 65

Hayden Ward scored 21 points and snagged 12 rebounds to send SUNY Oswego (18-6, 11-6) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.

Sean Michele scored 16 points and Alex Mirabito 14 for the Lakers.

Curtis Pierce led SUNY Potsdam (9-15, 5-12) with 18 points. Mark Lake Jr. scored 11 points and Zac Adams added 10 for the Bears.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

RIT 73, ST. LAWRENCE 65

Courtney Tennant scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Tigers (11-13, 7-8) past SLU in a Liberty League contest in Rochester.

Jess Kramer scored 18 points for the Tigers.

Kara McDuffee paced SLU (17-7, 11-4) with 17 points and nine rebounds. Cassie St. Hilaire and Hannah Wilson both scored 13 points for SLU.

WILLIAM SMITH 60, CLARKSON 48

Chloe Hayter scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Herons (15-9, 9-6) in a Liberty League game in Geneva.

Sasha Borenstein scored 15 points for William Smith. Leighann Tomita led Clarkson (4-19, 2-13) with 15 points and Ashley Loggins added 13.

SUNY OSWEGO 70, SUNY POTSDAM 47

Paula Egelston scored 14 points to lead SUNY Oswego (17-7, 11-6) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.

Jenn Robbins scored 13 points for the Lakers. Katy Briedis scored 16 points for the Bears (1-23, 0-17).

SKIING

TOP 10 FOR SCOTT

SLU sophomore Graham Scott earned his sixth career top-10 finish, placing seventh in the slalom for the Alpine team at the Middlebury Carnival. Scott helped lead the Saints to a fifth-place finish with his combined time of 1 minute, 36.5 seconds.

Ashley-Kate Durham finished 13th and Allison Visconti was 14th for SLU’s women, who finished sixth.

Will Frielinghaus finished in 19th place in the 10-kilometer classic for SLU’s Nordic team, helping the Saints to a seventh-place finish at the Middlebury Carvinal. SLU’s women were ninth overall.
