OSCEOLA A New Jersey man was critically injured in a snowmobile crash early Saturday morning off Comins Road in the town of Osceola.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies said Lawrence R. Corl, 53, Franklin Park, N.J., was driving a 2005 Ski-Doo MXZ 800 when he went off the right side of the trail, striking several trees.
Mr. Corl was taken by Camden ambulance to Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, where he was listed in critical condition, deputies said. A nursing supervisor at the hospital Saturday evening was unable to find a listing for Mr. Corl.
An investigation into the crash is continuing, deputies said.
Redfield firefighters assisted at the scene.
