POTSDAM — Freshman defenseman Erin Ambrose received rookie of the week honors for ECAC Hockey for her performance for the Clarkson women’s hockey team.

Ambrose, who is from Keswick, Ontario, scored a power-play goal in each game as the Golden Knights defeated Rensselaer and Union last weekend. Ambrose is averaging 1.12 points per game. She has four goals — all on the power play — and 25 assists in 26 games.
