MASSENA — Two Massena men were arrested on drug-related charges early Friday in the village.

Keith W. Snyder, 20, of 405 S. Main St., and Casey D. McMillan, 24, of 312 Bucktown Road, were arrested after village police executed a search warrant at Mr. Snyder’s apartment at 2:25 a.m., Chief Timmy J. Currier said.

Mr. Snyder was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor, for alleged possession of heroin. He also was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia, another class A misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Mr. McMillan was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, also for alleged possession of heroin.

Chief Currier said village police were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force and state police, and that no further information is being released while the investigation continues.

The two men were issued appearance tickets returnable to Village Court.
