Douglas C. Foster, 80, of Alexandria Bay, New York died Monday, February 11th at Knapp Hospital in Weslaco, Texas. He was born in Climax, N.Y., son of Harry and Marion Foster. He served in the Army during the Korean War for two years. He is survived by his wife Nola, two daughters, Kathi (Dana) Jonas, Karen (George) Bestvinna and a son, Wade (Maribel) Foster. He is also survived by two step-sons Danny and Gregory Ely and 5 grandchildren. He had a previous marriage that ending in divorce. He worked as a tractor trailer driver and retired from Leaseway Corp. where he worked transporting new automobiles. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and his family. There will be a remembrance service held at the RV Park where they have wintered since 1997. There will also be a celebration of life in April in Alexandria Bay at the convenience of the family.
