POTSDAM — John Coleman scored 18 points to send the Clarkson University men’s basketball team to a 69-63 victory over Skidmore in a Liberty League game Tuesday night.

Marques Charlton scored 15 points for Clarkson (16-7 overall, 8-6 conference). Aldin Medunjanin scored 16 points and Tanner Brooks added 14 for Skidmore (14-9, 8-6).

SUNY PLATTSBURGH 92, SUNY POTSDAM 69

John Perez and Shamoy McIntosh both scored 14 points to lead the Cardinals (16-7, 12-4) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Plattsburgh.

Jordan Moody scored 13 points, and Chris Manning and Shavar Fields each added 10 for SUNY Plattsburgh.

Mark Lake Jr. led the Bears (9-14, 5-11) with 14 points. Rob Duquette and Curtis Pierce each scored 12 points for the Bears.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

CLARKSON 61, SKIDMORE 55

Ashley Loggins scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Clarkson (4-18, 2-12) defeated Skidmore in a Liberty League game in Potsdam.

Isabella Esposito scored 17 points and Leighann Tomita added 13 points for Clarkson.

Angela Botiba scored 13 points for Skidmore (12-11, 10-4).

SUNY PLATTSBURGH 77, SUNY POTSDAM 58

Catherine Cassidy scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Cardinals (12-11, 8-8) defeated the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Plattsburgh.

Devona Paul led the Cardinals with 16 points. Misha Green scored 12 and Kathleen Payne added 10 for the Cardinals.

Jessica Kouzan scored 20 points with nine rebounds for the Bears (1-22, 0-16), and Katy Briedis also scored 20 points.
