LOWVILLE — Village police on Monday charged Dustin S. Sauer, 23, of 5487 Water St., Apt. 5, with disorderly conduct.

Police said they responded to a report of a domestic dispute between Mr. Sauer and his girlfriend, who was not named. After the woman left, Mr. Sauer “became angry and showed signs of violent behavior,” according to a police report.

He was taken into custody and issued an appearance ticket for Village Court.

State police and Lewis County sheriff’s deputies assisted at the scene.
