Grace Potter and the Nocturnals performed a 10-year anniversary concert Sunday night at St. Lawrence University’s Leithead Fieldhouse.
The band formed on the SLU campus in 2002, where Ms. Potter was a music major. USA Today last summer called Ms. Potter “the best female rock singer in the country.”
The group’s latest album, “The Lion, The Beast, The Beat,” was released last year. Ms. Potter demonstrated her skills as a multi-instrumentalist for her enthusiastic audience on Sunday, playing guitar and piano. The band is compiling each night’s set list on its current tour based on song requests sent to the band via Twitter.
