The artistic legacy of Henderson Harbor summer resident and artist/art teacher Nicholas Todisco is continuing at the Szozda Gallery in Syracuse.

Mr. Todisco, of Syracuse, who died in October, was instrumental in helping young artists develop their talents.

A two-week exhibit honoring his work ended Feb. 2 at the gallery, located at 501 W. Fayette St. The gallery’s current exhibit, ‘Salon Style Two,’ features the new works of about 10 artists, including Syracuse artist and teacher Robert Niedzwiecki, who was taught and inspired by Mr. Todisco.

“Nick taught so many of our wonderful teachers in the area,” said gallery owner Caroline Szozda-McGowan. “He was an amazing man.”

Included in the exhibit is the oil painting ‘Floater’ by Mr. Niedzwiecki and another oil titled ‘Long View Adirondack.’

For more information on Szozda Gallery, call the gallery at 579-2805. “Salon Style 2” runs through March 3. The gallery is open to the public. There is no admission charge.
