POTSDAM — Ali Vakos scored twice and provided an assist as the top-ranked SUNY Plattsburgh women’s hockey team stayed unbeaten as it blanked SUNY Potsdam, 6-0, in an ECAC West conference game at Cheel Arena on Sunday.

Chelsea VanGlahn tallied a goal and two assists for the Cardinals (21-0-2, 13-0-1), and Shannon Stewart scored her 20th goal of the year, which is tops in the nation for Division III. Sydney Aveson made 15 saves for her sixth shutout of year.

Jen Conophy turned aside 40 shots for the Bears (8-13-2, 4-9-1).
