OGDENSBURG — Christopher A. Sawyer, 27, of 202 Cedar St., was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a Feb. 5 incident.

Police allege Mr. Sawyer attempted to make physical contact with a county inmate who was being transported to city court. When Mr. Sawyer was prevented from making contact, police said he became confrontational towards the officers.

He was taken into custody and issued appearance tickets for Ogdensburg City Court.
