HEUVELTON - Tom Dawson took high triple at 20-48 and shared the top single with Mert Haynes at 8-16 in Doug’s Tavern Winter Horseshoe League play on Thursday. Stiles Sand and Gravel was the top ringers team with 53 ringers.

Strate Construction had the bye and remained atop the standings at 68-40.

In team play, Girard’s Limo Service doubled Dawson Meat Cutting 6-3, Stiles Sand and Gravel edged Doug’s Tavern 5-4, and Nig’s Tavern nipped Ogdensburg Bowl 5-4.
