Lorraine Beard returned just in time for the Alexandria girls basketball team.
Beard, who had missed the last two games due to a concussion, scored a game-high 14 points to lead third-seeded Alexandria to a 41-34 victory over No. 2 Sackets Harbor in the Frontier League D Division semifinals on Thursday at Jefferson Community College.
The Purple Ghosts will play top-seeded Copenhagen for the playoff title at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the same location.
Rachael Calhoun provided 11 points and 15 rebounds for Alexandria (9-8), which lost both of its regular-season matchups with the Patriots.
Joan Cuddeback and Nicole Menapace scored 12 and nine points, respectively, for Sackets Harbor (10-6).
COPENHAGEN 54, LYME 28
Maci Spaulding had 10 points and six rebounds as the top-seeded Golden Knights won their eighth straight game, beating the No. 4 Indians in the D Division semifinals at JCC.
Logan Wheeler scored nine points, while Rachel Muncy and Miranda Allen added eight each for Copenhagen (13-3).
Copenhagens only divisional loss this season came against Alexandria, 44-33, on Dec. 12. The teams split their two regular-season matchups.
Yanna Ososkalo led Lyme (5-10) with 11 points while her sister, Enesa, added eight.
A-P-W 50, BEAVER RIVER 39
Alexis Stevens finished a rebound shy of a triple-double as the Rebels earned a crossover win in Parish.
Stevens had 20 points, 10 steals and nine rebounds for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (7-11, 6-11). Erin Stever collected 11 points. Abigail Cornell paced Beaver River (6-12, 6-10) with 12 points,

GENERAL BROWN 46, SOUTH LEWIS 42
Joe Simoneau scored a game-high 17 points to pace the Lions to a crossover win in Dexter.
General Brown (3-13, 3-14) led 14-13 after one quarter and built a 30-17 halftime edge.
Jason Martin scored 14 points to pace the Falcons (8-9, 9-9), and Shawn Loomis contributed 12 points.
BEAVER RIVER 66, A-P-W 41
Alex Hall collected 27 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks as the Beavers earned a crossover win against the Rebels in Beaver Falls.
Samuel Widrick added 16 points for Beaver River (17-1, 16-1). Baron Correll and Aaron Marshall had eight points each for A-P-W (7-11, 6-11).
