Raymond served for 33 ½ years in the Army / National Guard at Ft Drum, NY and was a Korean War Veteran. After retirement he was an avid follower of his local sports teams (both boys and girls) in NY and FL and received appreciation plaques for his attendance and guidance from the teams at Jefferson Community College, in NY, Stetson University in FL and Seminole Community College in FL (the players called him Coach and many times he even rode the team bus with the players to out-of-town-games). He and his wife enjoyed many years and hundreds of miles traveling across the U.S. visiting National Parks, Monuments, Memorials and other interesting places. Raymonds favorites were the redwood and sequoia trees.
Raymond was a family man first and foremost, and loved his wife and family dearly. We will miss him and love him forever and he will always be in our hearts.
