SARATOGA SPRINGS Dani DeGregory scored 13 points to help the Skidmore College womens basketball team rally from a six-point halftime deficit to defeat St. Lawrence University 46-44 in a Liberty League game on Tuesday.
SLU (15-6 overall, 9-3 conference) led 27-21 at halftime, but Skidmore started the second half with an 11-0 run to take a 32-27 lead and held on for the win.
Jordyn Wartts scored 12 points and Angela Botiba tossed in 20 for Skidmore (12-10, 10-3). SLU, which shot just 5-for-22 in the second half, was led by 12 points for Kara McDuffee and 11 from Kelly Legg.
■ Brady Condlin scored 24 points to lead the St. Lawrence University mens basketball team to a 67-61 victory over Skidmore College in a Liberty League contest Tuesday night.
Kyle Miller added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Saints (9-12 overall, 7-5 conference). Aldin Medunjanin led Skidmore (15-6, 8-5) with a 14-point effort. Sakhile Sithole scored 12 points and Tanner Brooks and Kevin Dahill each provided 11.
