STRONG TOURNAMENT SHOWING - The Massena Central varsity wrestling team finished out its regular tournament season by placing second out of 17 teams at a tournament in Colchester, Vermont, this past weekend.
Peru led the teams standings and Saranac Central placed third behind the Raiders. Senior Isaiah Perry, who grappled his way to the top of the chart at 138 pounds, was voted as the Most Outstanding Wrestler in the 99-145-pound catergory. Jeremy Malone also came away with a championship, leading the way at 195 pounds. Placing second for Massena were Hunter Perrine (152) and Nolan Terrance (285). Third-place finishers were Skyler Cameron (113) and Landon Laughlin (132) and placing fourth were Konnor German (120), Jesse Patraw (126), Dan Elman (145) and Joey Ferrera (182). (Submitted Photo)
