POTSDAM - Potsdam Village Police say they are investigating a report of a knife incident Wednesday night involving several Clarkson University students.
Police said they didnt receive a report about the altercation until mid-morning Thursday. Police said the report they received indicated one student menaced several others with a knife and then slashed one student in the hand before he was disarmed.
The police department will be following up with university officials as to the nature of this incident and why it was not immediately reported to the police department by Campus Safety and Security, Potsdam Village Police officials said in their public record released Friday morning.
