CARTHAGE- Helen M. Wright, 75 of State Route 3 died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Carthage Area Hospital, Carthage, NY.Born March 10, 1937 in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of George and Alice Sweet Rivers and attended school in Tylerville.

On April 5, 1969 she married Roland F. Wright in the town of Pamelia.

Prior to her marriage Mrs. Wright was employed with Uptown Rags in Watertown.

She enjoyed baking, crafts, sewing, being a housewife and mother.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Marie and Daniel Locy, Carthage, Martha and Daniel Leone, Rochester and Lisa and Frank Mazzella, GA; two stepsons, Francis Wright, Watertown and Jeffrey Wright, FL; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Pam and Mac McDonald, GA and Rose and Mike Young, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Chenoa Woodruff, Eron Oakes, Ian Locy, Matthew Finerson, Sara Connor, Jessica Latimer, Heather Davis, Christopher Youngs, Melissa Youngs, Michael Youngs, Jacquline Wright, Jeffrey Wright and Cody Wright; several great grandchildren; and a brother, John Rivers, NC.

There will be no services. Burial at Dexter Cemetery will be in the spring. Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa.
