EVANS MILLS — Ryan A. Slayko, 37, of 8130 Schell Ave., was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly attempted to strike a state trooper with his motorized wheelchair, according to state police.

The trooper was at Mr. Slayko’s apartment because of neighbor complaints that he was playing music too loud, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and was released without bail by LeRay Town Justice George E. Mead III.
