Four Big M grocery stores in Watertown, Adams, Sandy Creek and Boonville co-owned by brothers William J. and Gordon T. Bonisteel will be sold to the Tops grocery franchise in late February, sources told the Times.
During meetings with employees this month, store management said that all employees will keep their jobs when the stores change ownership to Tops under the deal. The affected stores are located at 1330 Washington St. in Watertown, 10916 Route 11 in Adams, 6103 North Main St. in Sandy Creek and 261 Utica Blvd. in Boonville,
Multiple calls made to William and Gordon Bonisteel Monday seeking comment were not returned.
