MASSENA - The weather has forced the cancellation of a number of activities scheduled for Monday.

There will be no after-school activities at St. Lawrence Central, Canton (including St. Mary’s), Colton-Pierrepont, Edwards-Knox, Gouverneur, Hammond, Harrisville, Hermon-DeKalb, Heuvelton, Lisbon, Massena, Morristown, Norwood-Norfolk, Parishville-Hopkinton and Potsdam.

In sports, girls’ basketball games between Chateaugay and Heuvelton, Hermon-DeKalb and Canton, Edwards-Knox and Hammond, and Madrid-Waddington and St. Regis Falls have been postponed, along with a boy’s hockey game between Tupper Lake and Salmon River and a girls’ hockey playoff game between St. Lawrence Central and Salmon River.

Financial Aid Information Night for Massena Central seniors and their parents, scheduled for Monday evening, has been postponed. It has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 6 in room 314 at the high school.

The St. Lawrence County Drinking Driver Program Class has also been cancelled.
