■ DEXTER — General Brown Central School District report cards will be sent home Friday.

■ BALMAT — The Fowler Town Council will have a public hearing at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Town Hall on increasing penalties for dog control violations.

■ CAPE VINCENT — The Town Council, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will host a Jefferson County Planning Board training session at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Cape Vincent Recreation Park on James Street.

■ CHAUMONT — The Lyme Central School Board of Education will host three public budget discussions. The first two will be at 2 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lyme Free Library, Route 12E, and the third will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the United Methodist Church dining room, Three Mile Bay.
