■ The Watertown City Council has agreed to allow the Parks and Recreation Department to set up a fee for a group that wants to play broom ball in the Watertown Municipal Arena at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

■ LOWVILLE — Snow Belt Housing Co. Inc. has been awarded $300,000 from the state Affordable Housing Corp. to provide repairs to 30 county homes. The money may be used in conjunction with $425,000 in other funding awarded last year.
