TURIN A Turin man was accused Wednesday of violating a court order and possessing hypodermic needles.
Derrick W. Allen, 31, Houseville Road, was charged by Lewis County sheriffs deputies with second-degree criminal contempt and possession of a hypodermic instrument, answerable in Turin Town Court.
Deputies said they found the needles at Mr. Allens residence while investigating the alleged violation of a stay-away order of protection on Sunday. Further details on the criminal contempt charge were not provided.
