FORT COVINGTON - North Franklin Minor Hockey and 94.7Hits FM will be hosting a benefit game this Friday at Salmon River Centrals Tom Cavanaugh Arena.
Proceeds from the game pitting the 94.7 Charity Hockey team against the North Franklin Shamrock coaches will be donated to the Salmon River Elementary PTO.
The 94.7 team will warm up for the main event with a game against the North Franklin Mites starting at 6 p.m. The game between the team and coaches is slated to face-off at 7 p.m.
The cost is $4 for adults, $1 for student and free to children ages 4 and under.
Members of the 94.7FM Charity team include Marty Lamarre, Potter and Dexter, as well as former NHL player Daniel Goneau.
Prizes will be awarded throughout the night, including a lottery tree, chuck-a-puck and a chance to win a pair of tickets to an Ottawa Senators game.
