The National Weather Service says a wind chill warning will be in effect from 9 p.m. tonight to 7 p.m. Wednesday for the St. Lawrence Valley.
The NWS is predicting wind chill factors will drop to 30 to 38 below 0 degrees with west to northwest winds in the 5 to 10 mph range.
The combination of very cold air and wind will create dangerously low wind chill values, according to the National WeatherService.
