After responding to a domestic fight Sunday night at a house on Sterling Street, a city police officer was physically pushed out the door by a woman, according to police.
The woman was arrested.
Robin A. Bailey, 47, of 243 Sterling St., is charged with harassment and obstructing governmental administration, and awaits prosecution in City Court.
The domestic fight was reported shortly after 8 p.m. Officer Matthew D. Preedom responded and was at the residence about 35 minutes before Ms. Bailey allegedly placed her hands on his back, pushed him out the front door, then tried to shut the door on him, he reported. She was taken into custody and was taken to the police department, where she refused to provide her middle name for police documentation, the officer said. The obstructing charge stems from that lack of cooperation, according to police documents.
