MONTAGUE A New Jersey woman was injured at 8:53 p.m. Saturday in the Montague Inn motel parking lot.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies said Irena K. Bairova, 41, Summit, N.J., was driving a 2006 Polaris snowmobile when, due to inexperience, she pushed the throttle instead of the brake, causing her to sideswipe one parked sled and hit another one.
She suffered a compound fracture to his left leg and was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, for treatment.
