Vaughndell Brantley hit five 3-point field goals and finished with 21 points to lead Onondaga Community College to an 83-66 Mid-State Athletic Conference mens basketball win over host Jefferson CC on Thursday.
The Lazers (11-7 overall, 2-2 MSAC) hit 11 3-pointers. Ryan Gavin contributed 16 points and 16 rebounds for OCC.
Derrick Williams and Damien Jackson led JCC (5-12, 0-4) with 19 points each. Justin Sullivan grabbed 10 rebounds for the Cannoneers, who went 0-for-5 on threes.
■ Kayla Kibling scored 17 points to lead five Onondaga CC players in double figures as they beat the host JCC women 82-66 in a conference game. Kaitlynne Knapp also contributed 14 points for OCC (14-2, 3-0).
Jasmine Canady led the Cannoneers (7-11, 3-2) with 22 points. Morgan Kiernan and Tapulei Vavaeo added 12 points each.
