James J. Beattie, formerly of Watertown, passed away in Phoenix, Az. on January 11, 2013 following heart surgery. James was born August 26, 1958 in Watertown. Son of James J. and Kathleen K. Beattie. He moved with his family to Phoenix in 1962. He is survived by his 3 children, Autumn, Jason, and Brittany Beattie, mother Kathleen of Phoenix, brother Jerry (Karen) Beattie of Carson City, NV, and sister Sally (Tom) Cadigan of Sedona, AZ. James also leaves behind nieces, Kelly Cadigan and Erin Beattie, and nephew, Ryan Cadigan, as well as numerous cousins and aunts in Phoenix and Watertown, including Sister James Marie of IHC and Caroline Kelly. Services are pending.
