Rexford John Morse, 93, of Venice, FL passed away January 15, 2013. Rexford was born April

9, 1919 in Homer, NY the son of the late Byron and Hazel (Marble) Morse. He was a Guidece Director & Principal at Madison-Oneida B.O.C.E.S. in Verona, NY. In 2007 Rexford moved

to Venice after living in North Port for 30 years. He was a member of the North Port community

United Church of Christ and also a choir member, the North Port Concert Orchestra, Venice Concert

Band, North Port Brass Band, North Port Concert Band, Port Charlotte Concert Band, International

Horn Society, Trout Lake, NY Rod & Gun Club, Trout Lake Campers Assoc., North Port Chorale,

North Port Country Club, Phi Delta Kappa, San Jose State Alumni Assoc. and the New York State

Guidance Assoc.

Rexford is survived by his daughters Sally Morse Emerich of Bethlehem, PA and Laurie Morse of

Glencoe, IL and son Roger B. Morse of Key West, FL. He is preceded in death by his daughter

Nancy Morse Howard in January 2002 and wife Shirley C. Morse.
