State police say a Watertown man attempted Wednesday night to walk out of Walmart Super Center, Route 11, town of LeRay, without paying for DVDs and a charger selling for a total of $484.42.

Scott L. Thomas, 30, of 407 Fairview St., was charged in the 8:30 p.m. incident with petit larceny, and is ordered to appear in town of LeRay Court.

About three hours earlier, Courtney M. Quinn, 25, of 25524 James St., Calcium, was also cited with petit larceny at the store. A trooper listed her theft at a value of $44.28.
