■ CLAYTON — Village offices will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

■ The Watertown Urban Mission recently accepted a donation totaling more than $500 from a Dec. 20 fundraiser at Denny’s restaurant, Arsenal Street.

■ DEXTER — The village sent bills for water, sewer and trash service on Jan. 10. Businesses or residents who did not receive a bill may contact the village office at 639-6260.

■ DEFERIET — Because of the deputy clerk’s dismissal, hours for the village offices have been changed. The office at 68 Riverside Drive will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Residents may request garbage stickers by writing to the Village of Deferiet, P.O. Box 206, Deferiet, NY 13628.
